land between trade routes. The Deep Field Network consists of the Most
Powerful and Largest Cannon systems ever ever in the multiverse. The
SIGMA Station possessing the Largest Magnetic Accelerator Cannon, fires a
titanic slug of a composite build of Hardened Steel, Cobalt, Tungsten,
and tipped with Depleted Uranium. The massive Slugs weigh 9 Tons and are
accelerated faster than any other MAC is capable of traditional
Speed is between 40-50% lightspeed for a Super MAC. The Apex Tremor MAC
on the DFDS' break into 90% lightspeed and impact with a force so brutal
even the Mighty Spirit of Azasu could survive no more than a few direct
hits. Having an astonishing Range on it, the stations computers are set
to target distant unknown object and acquire a firing solution. once
the object is within an acceptable range of 50 million Miles the
Stations Open fire with the appropriate weapon system. So Far they have
been tested three times... It took 20 minutes for warning of the attack
to Arrive at IFRIT.. By the time a Fleet was organized and dispatched to
support SIGMA the fleet found nothing but the defense station
shooting at large chunks of Wreckage in the distance.

Able to fire 1 round every 10 seconds, it has a very large output; along with many other GCC weapons. With the top of the line targeting system, it only need a crew of 12 to operate, if a crew is needed at all.

Cairo MAC Cannon Weapons Platform
The Cairo unmanned MAC Cannon Defense System was one of the first even designed defense grids, firing a 3,000-ton depleted Uranium slug with a terminium coating around the outside with a liquid Naquadria center at nearly 70% of the speed of light. A very heavy striker, it has been replaced mostly by the Mass Driver Weapons Platform and the Dark Star Station, but is still the last line of defense.

The AG-3 satellite was a planetary defense platform that represented the ultimate climax of all USSR technology. The system cost more than $160 Billion over one year to deploy and was made up of 288 satellites that covered an entire planet. They were powered by heavy liquid naquahdah and used subatomic particles focused into a very fine beam to yield destructive energy. This type of attack was so exact that there was no residual energy.
These satellites also carried deep space sensors that could detect an incoming ship thousands of light-years away. Their weapons were capable of rendering the shields of a ship ineffective. When more power than one unit could provide was necessary, a group of units would combine to add their destructive potential together. In addition to attacking incoming enemy ships, it was also shown that the system could attack other satellites or objects in orbit as well as targets on the ground.
Distuptor Field Genorator (Satilite)
A disruptor satellite is a planet-defending version of the smaller Disruptor Cannon, designed to disintegrate enemy vessels shields. The disruptor itself was based on Alterran Technology, although the Givosions and Russians were able to adapt it for their own uses. The satellite was compatible with human computers.
HVR Defense Platfrom
Gained from Chomibashi, it is the newest defense over Givious amd its territory. Their are over 100,000, spread across all areas.

The Size of the Cannon that fires the HVR is half the length of the ship. Thus the ship is built basically around the Cannon. The DX is basically the same thing as the MAC. Besides the round that is fired. We also can make the MAC cannon alot smaller then just haveing to build a Whole ship around it (we only have to build half a ship around it). But the smaller it is the less punch it has But they still can knock our shields and destroy ships. They are just smaller MAC's but still fire different round. MACs fire a ferric tungsten or uranium round while the HVR is a hollowed out depleted uranium shell that is layered with 3 different chemicals that once upon impact causes a chain reaction making an explosion. The punch is slightly stronger then a MAC round. Through years of research and designs we have come far with the HVR and DX weapons. (The round is about 3,000 pounds and goes 30% the speed of light. With the explosion enough to destroy even the largest and best defended ships) Before the break throughs the DX weapons were the top weapon Chomibashi has. Fireing smaller HVR's when we found we could increase the size and damage radious of the HVR we began to research it. Putting trillions of dollars into this research we have come up with what we use today. So in short we built a smaller MAC cannon and put a different round that has most of the same effects as the MAC. The round is different the same weight but has a stronger punch. Not a much stronger but you get the point. Aiming the DX cannon is a process that takes a few calculation. Able to move the cannon slightly helps making aiming faster then turning the whole ship. But we still have to turn the whole ship at some points.The firing process of a DX cannon is like this. The process uses electromagnetism to fire the slug at high velocity. A huge amount of current is put through the first solenoid (coil of conducting wire) which creates a strong magnetic field which attracts the metal slug. As the slug passes into the solenoid, the solenoid is quickly turned off and the second solenoid, which is further up, turns on, which attracts the now high velocity metal slug just like the first solenoid, and the process is carried on. By the time the slug is fired out the end of the barrel it has been accelerated to a speed 30% of the speed of light. At the same time a pair of thrusters on the bottom side of the ship fire for a couple of seconds to counteract the acceleration imparted to the ship. The process then repeats. It normally takes five seconds to recharge capacitors as well as load the slug.
A7 Ion Mine
The A7 is a heavy Ion mine is used as a defense weapon. when detonated it will destroy shields and any electronics on board a ship. they are used in defense and can be dropped by ships to be used as a weapon, as they have small engines on them that allow them to act as missiles.
Givosion Gravity Well Projectors
These Long Range Satellites detect incoming jumps and can scramble them, causing the ships to get turned around. They also block radio transmissions. It defends for about 2 AU from a planet.
